À propos du lieu

Centre Sir John Monash
route de Villers-Bretonneux
  • Somme
  • Hauts-de-France
The Sir John Monash Centre tells the story of the Australian experience on the Western Front through the words of those who participated. Located at the back of the Australian National Memorial and adjacent to the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, the Sir John Monash Centre is a key site of the Australian Memorial Trail on the Western Front. This centre offers state-of-the-art multimedia content and allows the Western Front to be exposed from an Australian perspective through a number of interactive installations and immersive experiences. The “SJMC” app uploaded to the visitor’s phone or tablet becomes a “virtual tour guide” along the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery in the Australian National Memorial and Sir John Monash Centre.
