The Museum of Art and Archaeology, the Spahis Museum and the Veneer Museum form an essential part of the Senlisian heritage. They tell the history of the city, but also of the region, through many works, from the 1st to the 20th century. Great names such as Thomas Couture, Séraphine Louis, Jean-Baptiste Oudry share the icons with ex-voto or spahis outfits. Museums are open to the public during the European Heritage Days.

Installed(Settled) in the old(former) episcopal palace of Senlis, the museum is in the historic heart of the city, nearby immediate of the cathedral. A part(party) of the basement appears as a museum of site where the visitor discovers the vestiges of a Gallo-Roman house on which was built the palace. The other section, a beautiful vault shelters the direction(fabrication) from the spectacular Gallo-Roman whole thanksgiving plaque exhumed during excavations(searches) of the temple of healing of the forest of Halatte. The archaeological collections spread(display) at the ground floor, around monumental one bronze base.
