The Port Museum presents on three levels the history of the port of Dunkirk from the seventeenth century to the present day through its rich collections.

Along a unique route with a warm and enveloping atmosphere, you will discover figureheads, the portrait of the famous privateer Jean Bart, exceptional ship models, dioramas and a technical gallery illustrating the docker’s job.
Alongside, the sail training vessel Duchesse Anne, the fire boat Sandettié, the barge Guilde, the boat Pilotine 1 and the tug Entreprenant will remind you of sailing, signalling at sea, boating, piloting and finally towing.
The Risban Lighthouse, located 2 kilometres from the museum, will complete your exploration of the city’s maritime and port history with a stunning view of the North Sea.
