Marvel at the Notre-Dame de Saint-Omer Cathedral, built from the 12th to the 16th century. Admire the quantity and quality of furniture it contains and discover the temporary exhibition of the Friends of the Cathedral in the choir of the canons.

Unique(Only) Gothic cathedral of the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais, the cathedral Notre-Dame shelters a rich and various furniture which most objects are listed(classified) or register. The famous picture(board) of Rubens representing the descent from the cross is a very beautiful example. Having considered as the most beautiful medieval church of the region, it was at the origin based(established) by Omer in the 7éme century then promoted cathedral in 1561 further to the destruction of Thérouanne by Charles the Fifth.
