The ramparts of a city are important architectural elements because they convey a strong symbolism: protective element, delimitation of the city, retaining wall... Their usefulness is plural and their positioning reveals the evolution of the city. After several months of studies, the Crépy Safeguard Association and Aquilon are pleased to present a first study on the ramparts of Crépy-en-Valois. Dating them, locating them, knowing them are all possibilities to preserve them in the best way and to transmit them.
