125,000 years ago, in the Scardon Valley near Abbeville, a man killed an auroch and tasted his tongue! What man could have killed that proud animal, now vanished from the face of the planet? Using a notebook, the participants conduct the investigation into the exhibition and try to uncover the killer.

The archaeological museum of the Oise is rich in the furniture discovered during 30 years by researches(searches) on the Gallo-Roman town(conglomeration) of Vendeuil-Caply (objects of the everyday life, sculptures, wall paintings(paints)). The Centre of Preservation and of Study, structure dependent on the regional Service(Department) of archaeology, includes reserves for the archaeological furniture, working zone on objects, Documentation Centre. Associated with the museum, he allows the mutualisation of ways(means) and of skills for preservation, study, accessibility to the researchers, the scientific promotion(valuation) of these furnitures coming from operations of preventive archaeology.
