My main object of work is the portrait. I most often paint with acrylic on wood (pallet wood, wood dosse, others). I like to play with the shapes of this natural support that I work on beforehand, by arranging it in different ways, by sanding it or by preserving its initial shape. The choice of this medium brings a new dimension to the portrait. It allows to fragment the portrait and draw attention to a part of the face to reveal a particular emotion.
I choose to use bright colors and play with contrasts to take the portrait into a universe inspired by Pop art and Street art. For this I create splashes with a brush, spray can or rope.
