The objective of this visit is to present to the public the emblematic documents preserved by the Intercommunal Service of Archives while making him aware of the fragility of this last. • He will then have the opportunity to understand the missions of the profession of archivist on a daily basis, especially with regard to the requirements of memorial preservation. • The originality of the Inter-Municipal Archives Service lies in its permanent interaction with the small rural communities that had the idea of founding it and pooling this function in order to provide them with technical and intellectual assistance. • Today, it is the result of a desire to pool resources for the heritage conservation of local heritage. • The visit will take place in two stages: visit and history of the Intercommunal Service’s conservation premises and presentation of documents kept by the Service.
