At the end of the 19th century, the Protestant Reformed Church of Douai depended on the Pastor of Valenciennes. The service takes place in a room of the City Hall. A prefectural decree of August 8, 1897 authorizes the construction of the temple . In 1901 the Temple of the Reformed Church of Douai ended on a plot of land located at 70 rue de l'Hippodrome. It was inaugurated on 16 May 1901\. As for the parish hall known as the Gerbe, it will be inaugurated on April 28, 1929 Since 2012 the Reformed Protestant Church has united with the Lutheran Protestant Church and has become the United Protestant Church of the Douaisis.. They perform services and ceremonies: Baptisms, weddings, funerals..
