On this occasion, the Hauts-de-France Regional Choir is programming the Seven Words of Christ, a masterpiece still relatively unknown, bringing together, in addition to the Choir, three soloists and the organ. And it is on the magnificent instrument of the Saint-Étienne Church, due to the famous organ builder Cavaillé-Coll, that the work will truly take on its full dimension.

Chapel of the Jesuits established after the fire of 1740, it became parish church after destruction in 1792 of the old(former) church Saint-Etienne located near(about) Big(Great) Place(Square). The shell was finished(ended) on October 14th, 1747 and the blessing of the church in 1748\.
