After the Second World War, the village consisted of barracks and the church, temporary, was made of wood.
In 1950, when the parish priest Joseph Jochum was appointed to the village, he undertook the reconstruction of the building and carried out the plans. He drew the sketches of the stained glass window that he wanted ecumenical. It was Tristan Ruhlmann, master glassmaker, who ensured the realization.
The construction of the church was carried out in 1961 and the stained glass window was set up for All Saints' Day 1962, on the eve of the opening of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, in accordance with the wish of Pastor Jochum.
Since then, this stained glass window has attracted many visitors and lovers of modern art.
