The Theatre opens its doors and reveals the other side of its decor.

There, behind, in the famous hangers, the sounds and words will debate in every corner. The students of the percussion class of Jérémy Steibel of the Municipal School of Music and Dance argue in rhythm. The new theatre company in residence in our city, Le Talon Rouge, is advancing its harangues step by step. The budding musicians punctuate the interventions of Catherine Javaloyès and Stéphanie Félix, alias Moulinette: two actresses, the last of which is also clown. It takes these incongruous guides to discover, in the round belly of this odéon, the hiding places of a spirit as baroque as current.

Theatre is one of the 4 "Italian-style" theatres of Alsace. Built between 1842 and 1847 by the Parisian architect Charles Morin (adherent of Gustave Eiffel), 10 years before the arrival of the railroad in town, it is endowed with a metallic structure which hides a traditional facade in brick and in pink sandstone.
