Come and discover the Jesus Worker Church. See the meeting between the religious and the steel industry!
Taking the time to admire is not always easy! From the windows to the belfry, from the vaults to the sculptures, a church is full of details that amaze the passerby who takes the time to stop there.
The building, known as the “Basilica of the Orne Valley”, bears witness to the town’s steel past and is known for its imposing dimensions and the stained glass windows that adorn it. On Sunday, August 18, 2022 at 4:30 pm, Pierre Daprile, a passionate Talangeois, will offer you a guided tour on the architecture and history of the construction of Jesus Worker. Between the many anecdotes and the presentation of the stained glass windows, Pierre Daprile will be accompanied by organist Jean-Marc Wagenheim who will punctuate the visit with musical interludes. This small concert will allow this great enthusiast to give voice to the magnificent Italian organ of baroque inspiration.
