The works of this famous ceramist and the natural heritage meet for a weekend.

This year’s theme provides an opportunity to tell the story of animals and plants depicted in the works of Theodore Deck.
Where do they live? Where do they come from? Are they in danger? An afternoon will be dedicated to the discovery of aquatic environments present on the ceramics of Theodore Deck. The birds, which populate the museum’s collection, will also be the focus of visits and workshops.
Hailing from Guebwiller, Theodore Deck is a 19th-century ceramist whose works are often inspired by nature and their bright colours. Over the 500 pieces on display, the shapes and decorations of the ceramics offer an imaginary journey through Asian and aquatic flora and fauna.
Games for children, visits for adults and interventions for all!
This is an opportunity to rediscover the collection of the Théodore Deck Museum.
