The old(former) convent of the Benedictines, raised(brought up) in Serécourt in 1044 at the foot of the fortress of Deuilly was demolished(destroyed) a first time in 1467 then the second time in 1562\. It was then transferred in Morizécourt in 1625\. From this date the monks built a new convent "the priory of Morizécourt". In 1713, property was surrounded with walls then a chapel was added to it. She(It) possesses a stained-glass window, representing Saint-Georges of Deuilly. During the Second World War, the seminarians of Saint-Dié came take refuge in this place. He(It) stays, today, the main building(ship) with the visible(obvious) walls of the court(yard), the beautiful front-door and the chapel since the road.
