Discover the Church of St-Brice In the middle of the village of Autreville is the church of Saint-Brice, built in the 12th century. The Romanesque style is predominant and its bell tower is a very good example. This church has preserved magnificent traces of fortifications because, like many churches at that time, it played the role of stronghold in case of attacks.
In the 16th century, the building underwent extensive modifications, especially in its nave. Then appears the flamboyant Gothic style that can be seen on the various bays of the building. Subsequently, and especially in the 17th century, a certain classicism was to be found in tiny parts of the church, such as its doors. But overall the spirit remains medieval, between Romanesque and Gothic.
