Zwischen 1932 und 1934 entstand an der Mosel zwischen Hoste und Wittring ein künstlich überflutetes Gebiet.
Im Raum auf dem Damm des Teiches von Hoste-Bas entdecken Sie ein geniales System von Siphons, sowie eine Ausstellung über die Techniken, die verwendet werden, um einen Bereich von dreißig Kilometern Breite zu überschwemmen, und den militärischen Ereignissen zwischen September 1939 und Juni 1940.

Discover an atypical link of the Maginot Line consisting of a succession of flood dams and reservoir ponds, now called the "Maginot Aquatic Line".
An artificial flood zone was created between 1932 and 1934 in Moselle, between Hoste and Wittring.
In the room on the dike of the pond of Hoste-Bas, you will discover an ingenious system of siphons, as well as an exhibition on the techniques used to flood an area of about thirty kilometers wide, and the military events that took place there between September 1939 and June 1940.

Tra il 1932 e il 1934 in Mosella, tra Hoste e Wittring, era stata creata una zona artificiale alluvionale.
Nel locale sulla diga dello stagno di Hoste-Bas, scoprirete un ingegnoso sistema di sifoni, nonché una mostra sulle tecniche impiegate per inondare un'area di una trentina di chilometri di larghezza, e sugli eventi militari che vi si sono svolti tra settembre 1939 e giugno 1940.

Dans le local sur la digue de l'étang de Hoste-Bas, vous découvrirez un ingénieux système de siphons, ainsi qu'une exposition sur les techniques employées pour inonder un secteur d'une trentaine de kilomètres de large, et sur les événements militaires qui s'y déroulèrent entre septembre 1939 et juin 1940.

En el local situado en el dique del estanque de Hoste-Bas, descubrirá un ingenioso sistema de sifones, así como una exposición sobre las técnicas empleadas para inundar un sector de una treintena de kilómetros de ancho, y sobre los acontecimientos militares que tuvieron lugar entre septiembre de 1939 y junio de 1940.
