Chapelle des Arts
55 Rue Carnot, 88700 Rambervillers
The Chapel of Arts, today transformed into a place of conferences and of exhibitions(exposures), was in the past the chapel of the old(former) Hôtel-Dieu of Rambervillers. This chapel was devoted to Notre-Dame. Built in 1604, the old(former) hospital was deeply altered during big works in 1904, but the chapel was kept(preserved).
On the earthwork in front of the Chapel of Arts, you can observe the Monument to the Deaths honouring the memory of the children of Rambervillers fallen in 1914-1918\. This set(group), which is a creation of Alexandre Morlon, sculptor, and of Fernand Rimbert, architect, was inaugurated in big(great) pumps in 1923.
