Presentation of the large and small shawls in silk or woven or printed wool worn in the Bas-Rhin and the aprons of the holidays or working days between 1830 and 1930.
The Kochersberg House presents Sunday aprons in classic, art nouveau or transitional style. The working aprons in linen, cotton or picks fish on a thread in the kitchen. The seamstress mends a stove apron in the Stub.
The large shawls in silk or fine wool, woven or printed, in organza, will seduce you by the complexity of the weaver’s work and by the diversity of the knotting of the fringes. Worn on the front or back «Owe herum», embroidered by hand, machine or Cornely-style chain stitch, they will seduce you with their patterns, colors and shimmer.
Playground for children with small reward at the exit.
