Departure at 2.30pm from the Turtle Mill, on the edge of the Ardennes Canal, in Neuville-Day: presentation of the site and its history
15h30-17h: commented visit of the feudal keep of Day in Neuville-Day dated 1243, the keep on motte is the most beautiful building of the Ardennes feudal architecture. It has three levels of vaulted rooms served by a spiral staircase.
17h15: Meeting with a painter, Nicole Massiaux and her creations.
17h45: Guided tour of the Neuville-Day reconstruction church consecrated in 1952

The Donjon de Day is one of the most beautiful examples of feudal architecture in the Ardennes. The tower of Day, dating from the thirteenth century, is attached to a second tower which houses a spiral staircase with 3 overlapping rooms.
