Château Saint-Sixte

Castle of the XIIIth, XVIth and XVIIIth centuries. Discovery of the park and of the court(yard) of the castle, of the room Renaissance, of the medieval cooking(kitchen) and the dining room of the XVth century.
The first fortified castle was built in the XIIth century under the Lord Wirich of Valcourt. Changed several times, it trains(forms) a large medieval set(group), marked today by different times(periods). He(It) stays of the first castle curtains on whom(which) lean partly the south and north bodies, as well as two bows(arcs) and a groove of the harrow of the old(former) drawbridge. This first castle was partly destroyed before 1536 and replaced with a new construction close to the current castle. The first working campaign(countryside) lasted from 1536 till 1546\. It is at that time that were built the whole building(ship) and four tours(towers,ballots) of staircase in the internal angles.
