Implanted on the terrace of loess north of the city centre, the district of Cronenbourg develops in XIX e century with the arrival of railroad and of industry. The district gets organised in four big(great) entities in asserted(affirmed) characteristics: the old man Cronenbourg in the aspects of suburb, Saint-Antoine, residential area with suburban dominant feature, the nuclear City(Estate), large set realised in 1960s (2 184 housing) and sector of activities of the Market - Station.
