Hitherto little-known private documents make it possible to evoke the surge of creativity that enabled combatants on both sides of the front to resist madness: wild violin making, musical practice, concerts…
After the presentation of some “trench” instruments, participants will be invited to write their own songs and poems and then make their “trench” instrument from salvaged materials, boxes, tool sleeves, various strings. At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to interpret in music, with the instruments manufactured the texts they have written. Each participant can leave with his instrument.

He(It) matters(counts) among the main European museums of First World War.
