Achille & the mobile screen printing workshop Screen printing is an old manual printing technique, although little known by the general public, this technique is still widely used today for textile customization.
During this discovery session around this technique, we will make postcards in screen printing.
Participants will be able to compose and print manually from several small images on the theme of nature and plants.
Who is Achille Kempf? Freelance graphic designer, author of several books, posters and other printed objects in screen printing, I am part of the association Papier Trigger since 2015, associative printing and publishing house located in Strasbourg.
After touring France and making an award-winning micro-edition at the Krutenau Book Fair in March 2022 (L'Exode), I am back in Alsace to share my know-how and passion for manual screen printing. For more information: www.achillepyx.comDuration: 4 hours

In a completely renovated Renaissance building, three levels of exhibitions of popular images painted by hand, cut out in the gutter or painted under glass, retrace the existence of a beautiful local tradition somewhat forgotten: witnesses of the major stages of life (memories of baptisms, confirmations, marriages, etc.). They are the fragile and sensitive legacy of an Alsatian thought and popular art that some contemporary artists reinterpret and thus perpetuate.
