Ville de Blois

Created at the beginning of the seventeenth century, the episcopal pole that includes cathedral, bishopric and vast terraced gardens seems to rival, from the top of the hill, the silhouette of the castle. The gardens, open to the public since the Revolution, have largely preserved the original organization. A rose garden was created on the lower terrace. It has been labelled «Remarkable garden» since 2004.
