The route follows the route of the ancient fortifications and leads us through the medieval streets. The walk allows you to visit the old abbey church of the Madeleine of the 12th century and admire the castle from different angles, from the upper town to the edge of the Loir below. The circuit passes in front of the sites of the four old gates of access to the city and in front of some remains of the fortified enclosure still visible like the Fillon tower, the House of the Virgin or the impressive restored part of the ramparts of the Rue des Empereurs.
