Exhibition of the Best Workers of France
Organized in collaboration with the association of the museum’s friends, this exhibition highlights the expertise and skill of glassmakers by presenting pieces of glassmakers awarded at the Meilleur Ouvriers de France competition.
Carte Blanche exhibition in partnership with the Glassware d'art de Soisy-sur-Ecole
Since 1978, the Soisy Glassware on School has been inviting visitors to discover how glass is blown with cane. After learning the trade of glassmaker Frédéric Alary took over the family business. He has been working glass for 13 years now. In the glassware shop there are two glassmakers, an apprentice and a trainee.
The creations proposed by the glassmakers of Soisy-sur-Ecole are of great diversity: vases, lamps and suspensions, carved glass animals, goblets, bottles, pitchers, salad bowls, jars, citrus juicers, jewellery and even paperweights.
