Come discover the manor of Vonnes! Balzac made it, under the name of Clochegourde, the home of Henriette de Mortsauf, the heroine of the Lys in the valley. The tour, guided by the owners, will allow college and high school students to locate Balzac’s work, to discover the history of the manor, its chimneys and its richly carved dormers.

Chosen by Balzac to make the house of his heroine(heroin) in the Lily in the Valley.
