Moulin-Cavier des Aigremonts

Located on the plateau in the south of the city, this authentic windmill type cavier rare and particular, of which very few are open to the public (about 5 in France). His vocation was to grind grain. This was its primary function, but in this place the miller exercised a second profession, that of winemaker, that is why it is called mill cavier. Its structure is divided into 3 parts which are:
* the mass
* the massereau
* the hucherolle Built in 1848 by Monsieur Bergeault, was used to grind grain. Built mainly of stone and wood, it measures almost 18 m high. Restored from 2004 to 2009\. Located a few kilometers between Amboise and Chenonceaux, on the route of the castles of the Loire, this windmill participates in the tourist attraction of the city of Bléré in Indre-et-Loire.
