Église Notre-Dame
Bourg d'Achères 18250 Achères
The parish church was first a simple chapel granted in the 11th century to a small community of hermits by the lords of Menetou-Salon. The erection of the parish in 1768, at the request of the inhabitants of Acheres, led to the disappearance of the priory. Sold as a national property, the church was bought by the municipality. The other buildings of the priory became private property. From the enclosure remains the chapel that became a church, the ditches still visible to the east of it as well as the buildings transformed in the 19th century.
