The garden of Près-Fichaux, spread(widened) on 4,5 hectares was created by the City of Bourges and its architect landscapist of time(period) Paul Margueritat, between 1923 and 1930 on the location of old(former) marshes. This said garden of "Art deco " type is remarkable for its topiary art (size of vegetables according to geometric forms), its ponds, fountains and sculptures as well as its fleurissement important in annual plants. This garden «French-style divided into several thematic zones, as the terrace, the theatre of greenery or the rose garden, was registered on the additional inventory of historic monuments in 1990.
