The fortress dominates the Valley of Bouzanne. She(It) contains the châtelet of entrance(entry), the castrale chapel, the house of the Lord, the donjon and the large courtyard. The castle belonged to the families of Cluys (Bozon and Giraud), from Chauvigny and from Bourbon-Montpensier.
