Vincent Mauger

Suitable for all ages, this tourist circuit and the sites visited stand out for their heritage, environmental, artistic and gastronomic interests:

  • The Domaine de la Périsse in Dun-sur-Auron (Cher)
The environmental context of the domain of Périsse, located in the heart of a natural space sensitive of limestone causse, is associated with the contemporary eco-responsible proposal of the artist Vincent Mauger.
  • Meillant Castle in Meillant (Cher)
After several years of closure, the castle of Meillant offers for its reopening a rediscovery of the place. In a landscaped setting specific to the English garden, the contemporary work of Vincent Mauger will allow the visitor a rereading of the architectural ensemble of flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance style of Meillant Castle.
  • Domaine de Châteaufer à Châteaufer (Cher)
The gourmet break in the agroecological farm of Châteaufer allows a taste discovery of the fruits, vegetables and organic drinks produced on site. At the end of August, the gourmet stop will be at the Abbey of Noirlac*
  • Noirlac Abbey in Bruère-Allichamps (Cher)
The visit of the cloister, the gardens of Gilles Clément and the bocages of the abbey, combined with the land-art work of Thomas Martin marks the high point of the route.
  • The Berry Canal
Between nature and heritage, discover this aquatic jewel of the Berry by boat, on foot, by bike, by scooter...
