As part of the United Nations International Year of Glass, the Museum of Glass and its trades offers various exhibitions and activities throughout the territory of the Community of Communes of the 4 Valleys.
You will be able to discover an exhibition presenting the local glass history, an exhibition on the ecological properties of glass, an exhibition of art glassware but also demonstrations of glass blowing, projections of films on glass factories, concerts of unusual musical instruments in glass, among other animations.
This exhibition at the Pressoir de Rozoy le Vieil allows you to discover the collections of the Musée du Verre et de ses Métiers, the only public museum in France dedicated to glass products and industrial techniques in a unique lei.
Productions from local factories (optical glass, culinary glass, television, laboratory glass) are presented, as well as the various manufacturing processes used (blowing with cane, torch, pressing, etc.).
