The castle of Civray replaced a more old(former) building. It was built in 1715 for the inhabitant of Tours Louis Lhomme de La Pinsonnière. It was altered under the Restoration and extended by two small detached houses(flags). The property, located in l' is of the village, closes walls, covers four hectares. A regular garden precedes the north-south orientated castle, two terraces dominate in the South an environmental park. L' northeast angle of property is occupied by the court(yard) of the common(shared), dated of 1635.
