French painting of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Collection of graphic art composed of a Cabinet des pastels (18th century works), drawings from the main European schools, mostly French and Italian, from the 16th to the 19th centuries, as well as a collection of prints from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Room dedicated to Max Jacob and his friends, which brings together numerous documents evoking the plastic and literary creations of the poet.

Bicycle parking in front of the museum. Orléans Station: 15 min walk. Bus 4, 5, 25 (Halmagrand). Tram: line B (stop Cathedral), line A (stop De Gaulle). Accueil Vélo: the MBAO is located 700 m from the routes: Scandibérique (EuroVélo 3), Loire à Vélo (EuroVélo 6), Véloroute Canal d'Orléans by bike and cyclotouristic loops. The collections of the 19th century, located at the entresols, are not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
