Colombier du Vaujoyeux
Vaujoyeux, 22400, Planguenoual / Lamballe-Armor
The first mention of the dovecote dates from the beginning of the sixteenth century, by a deed of sale of 1510\. Depending then on the manor of Vaujoyeux, of which it is the only element that survived in the contemporary era, it still shares its architecture with several neighboring dovecote in the nineteenth century. In the 20th century, however, it was the only surviving building of its kind. It is imposed by its quadrilobed plan as a remarkable architectural element.
The dovecote of Vaujoyeux is classified as a historical monument on December 29, 1982.
