Artistes du Pays d'Auray

On the occasion of the opening of Brec'h en Art, the association APA - Artistes du Pays d'Auray - welcomes Hélène Bass and her cello in the chapel Notre-Dame des Fleurs.
Improvisation as a language; the cello as a tool and mediation partner; painting or sculpture as interactive scores; artists as dancers punctuating the melodies and coiled in the sounds of Hélène Bass, espce as a framework of resonance; smells, noises as carriers of sound colors; the unexpected to stay in the awakening... The audience: let him be his twin brother!

Located on the western edge of the town centre, the Notre-Dame-des-Fleurs chapel dates from the 18th century. Inside, Notre-Dame des Fleurs is represented in the middle of the altarpiece with fluted pilasters. The stained glass windows of the chapel were made according to drawings by Lucien Pouëdras (painter exhibiting in particular at the Eco-museum of Saint Dégan).
During restoration work in 1993, an earthen vase containing coins dating for the most part from the fourteenth century was discovered. The date of the rooms seems to indicate that there must have been an older building in place of the chapel.
