A common house, a municipal collection
The current Town Hall was originally a residence of Joseph-Gabriel Mauduit. In 1944, it became the Town Hall of Quimperlé.
The European Heritage Days are an opportunity to discover its history and to learn more about the collection of works of art it presents.

The current town hall was at origin a particular(special) house built in 1862 for founding Joseph Gabriel de Mauduit de Kervern of the stationeries of Mauduit.
The house of neoclassical inspiration contains 3 bodies of juxtaposed buildings(ships). One not connait not the architect of this building who(which) goes connaitre of diverse destinations.
Sold in 1878 to a tanner who resells him(it) in 1923 to a trader of the good(property), he(it) will shelter then a private hospital in 1930, a youth inn in 1937, the headquarters of the German army during the World War II, then the city council from 1944.
A large park surrounds the building(ship).
A part(party) of the local collection of painting(paint) is presented to the walls of corridors(lanes).
