On the trail of the Guerche schools

A unique visit that takes place in two stages: the origins of the school of Providence and its chapel and an investigation that will allow us tobe to solve the enigma of the location of the Auberge de la Tête Noire which from 1731 hosted the first girls' school in La Guerche. The visit ends with the discovery of the gardens.

Inauguration of the stained glass windows of the Chapel of ProvidenceDiscovery of two new stained glass windows created and realized by the workshop Barthe - Bordereau especially for the chapel La Providence of La Guerche-de-Bretagne.
Discover the work of this art craft, the representations of the old stained glass windows restored by this same workshop and the semiology of the new pieces in place.
See you on Saturday noon in the courtyard of the chapel.

Presentation of the Micro Folie project A true local cultural platform, the Micro-Folie project is at the service of the territory and offers access to thousands of masterpieces from the largest national museums. The municipality has planned to integrate this project to the chapel. Free access.
