Free visit of the vegetable garden and the park of the castle of Courterolles

The visit will allow to discover the vegetable garden and the park with his works of contemporary art as well as the exhibition of Edith Basseville, visual artist, «Les herbes de la zizanie»

The visit is free and a plan will be given to the visitors. The artist Edith Basseville will be present to comment on his exhibition. Guided tours will be offered Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 3pm without reservation.
It takes 1h30 to 2h to see the entire park and discover the 8 main works including the sundial "Counter-Time" by Nathalie Elemento and the Echiquier by Nicolas Daubanes, the two works installed this year.
The gardener, Ludovic Delaire, will be available to present his tomato collection and answer questions.

The castle of Courterolles is a set of buildings dating from the XXVIth century to the end of the XVIIIth century. The park is labeled Remarkable Garden and has an important botanical collection. It is embellished with contemporary skate works. It also has a large vegetable garden where flowers and vegetables are mixed. More than 120 different kinds of tomatoes are grown. It is proposed to visit the park, to have access to La Chapelle as well as to the photo exhibition of Estelke Ogura “Un jour… un autre”
