The church of Bonnard is dedicated to Saint Martin, a 4th century Roman soldier who became bishop of Tours The Saint Martin church, in ogival style, is from the 16th century. The Renaissance-style portal is from the 17th century. The interior is composed of a single nave with a great brightness. The choir is facing east. A bell tower topped the building until the beginning of the 20th century. From 1998 to 2000 the town undertook important restoration work. Admirable murals and fragments of stained glass windows from the sixteenth century have been highlighted.
