Moulin de Pras
71250 Sigy-le-Châtel
- Saône-et-Loire
- Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
The Moulin de Pras was founded in the 1380s. It was owned by seigneurs. Over the years, it has grown and been transformed to accommodate new technologies and families on a regular basis. The mill is fed by the Guye, a small river 46 km long that flows into the Grosne, then into the Saône. This building is the cradle of a rich history and still contains the machinery of the time when the mill was producing flour. It has retained most of its period architecture.
