Originally Romanesque and several times destroyed, the Church of the Sees was rebuilt in the 16th century in Renaissance style. In 1706, an accidental fire destroyed the church and part of the village. From the 16th century, only the choir, the last two bays of the nave and the side doors remain. Thanks to the rich wood of the village, the inhabitants were able to call on the royal architects François Buron and Claude Louis d'Aviler for its reconstruction in neoclassical style while remaining in harmony with the Renaissance remains.
