School, it welcomes students from the sixth to preparatory classes to the grandes écoles. Its initial endowment of physical demonstration instruments and experiments has grown over the years. The collection of ancient instruments thus consists of several hundred devices of which a hundred were the subject of an inventory and a protection measure by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs in 2000.
