Visit of the Church of Our Lady
The building was completed in the 13th century (the bell tower in 1158). It is 44 meters long and 17 meters wide.
The portal of the facade is a treasure of Romanesque sculpture, close to the portals of Avallon, although very mutilated. Inside, the vessel of the central nave, contemporary of the cathedral of Sens, is also remarkable for its pointed vaults, the alternation of supports and its sculptures developed to combat scenes and vegetal decorations. The other parts of the nave and transept are of a successful Gothic art of the 13th century, while the large rectangular choir is of the following century. In the same town, you can also visit the interesting remains of the former Cistercian abbey of Reigny, a few kilometres south of the village on the banks of the Cure, and the beautiful Romanesque church of Sacy.
