On the heights of Charolles, the Museum welcomes you in the old(former) priory of Madeleine based(established) in the Xth century, the clunisien Priory sports an aspect revival because of reorganisation which it knew at the end of the XVth century. Witness(Baton) of this time(period): the room of apparât, classified as "Historic Monument", as well as the archeological area in which is exposed(explained) the châpiteaux clunisiens of the XIIth century. Places shelter an earthenware collection of Charolles (on 1844 in our days) but also a department painting(paint) suggesting you contemplating denims Laronze (1852-1937) and of Paul Louis nincompoop (1895-1937) both landscapists of the Burgundy. Do not miss either the sculptures of René Davoine (1888-1962) exposing(explaining) in the old(former) chapel of the XIXth century.
