The Primitive Chapel, around the year 1451, was near a leper colony and served as a place of worship for the hospital. In 1741, threatening to ruin, it was demolished and the one that exists today under the name of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges was rebuilt. On August 5 of each year, a Mass was celebrated where mothers did not fail to pray to the Virgin Mary to help them raise their children in Christianity. The building was restored in 2006.
