Having located facing an island in the confluence of lively Sâne and dead Sâne, the Mill of Montjay in Ménetreuil, was chosen to receive the House of the water, omnipresent element in Bresse with its rivers and its ponds. To discover the mill it is not only to discover techniques and industry but it is also to go to the meeting of history(story), men(people), of social, cultural and natural space which it joins.
