Leave the town of Poil In Thil to follow the railway track to the municipal track 1. At the crossing on the right direction «le Plongeon», pass in front of the Old Castle then at the crossing follow the road of Magny on your left and you can admire the Castle of Magny. At the intersection of the three roads «Magny» - «the pond of the Gat» and «La pierre Saint-Maurice» take straight direction road of «l'Etang du Gat» continue your way until La cidrerie located about 3 kms, passing by the old road Gallo-Romaine. Continue towards «l'Impasse du Grand Montigny». After 200 m turn right direction «Chemin des champs Rousseau» pass the Orientation Table then join D124. Then turn right for 130 m and again turn right «Route de Chevrette» then continue straight until the next crossing (1km) turn left «Route Du Carrage», continue straight for 1.7 kms to reach «Le Bourg de Millay». Pass the church of Millay and La Bonne Auberge and follow the «route des Crevats» (1km) until the crossing. Turn right at 50m direction «Les Genettes» for about 1.3kms, then continue straight «route du Bois de Velle» towards Larochemillay.

The Church of Millay is one of the oldest churches in the Nièvre Department. This church was built on the site of a pagan temple and an ancient residence of priests.
The church of Saint Maurice de Millay was built in the second half of the eleventh century, On an ancient sanctuary, succeeding itself to a Gallo-Roman building, detected in the nineteenth century, when were raised the tombs that surrounded the building. Church of Millay has preserved its original structure despite numerous restorations. The west facade of the nave was restored in the nineteenth century. Tradition has it that the church of Millay was built within ten years of the foundation of the monastery of Marcigny. It would be dated 1064\. Its bell tower is square, it is pierced on its four faces of double single bays, its arrow is covered with slates. The church is 33 meters long by 14.50 meters overall.
